SISTERQUEENS Vol. 3 is a hip-hop camp for girls* and young women*. Together with hip-hop artists, they went to the countryside for two weeks to find space for artistic experimentation, relaxation and sisterhood in a quiet environment. In addition to teaching rap and dance skills and using them to express their own stories and positions, the focus was on exploring the history of hip-hop.
The summer camp fulfilled a great wish of the SISTERQUEENS participants*: A good time together with hip-hop and at the same time summer, sun and relaxation by the lake. MINTA* and FLINTA* aged between 9 and 27 from Berlin and beyond were invited to the summer camp at Erlebnishof Preddöhl (Brandenburg). The camp not only offered them space to pursue their own artistic expression and bring it into dialog with others, but also for community in a safer space. In addition to the workshops, friendships* were forged and perspectives exchanged during movie nights and excursions to the lake. At the end of the camp, a small party was, to show the created songs and choreos, to dance and sing together.
The camp took place from 29.07. - 02.08.24 (younger girls*) and 05.- 09.08.24 (girls* and young women*). A total of aproximately 40 MINTA* and FLINTA* took part in the camp. The camp was accompanied by a professional team - including the rappers Alice Dee, Hasczara and Leila Ey, as well as the dancers Moneymami and Ezgi.

Block parties are our safe space for all girls, trans*, inter*, non-binary, agender people, and women who love hip hop. Look forward to rap acts, dance battles, DJs, Q&As, and hip hop culture! We will also introduce you to the SISTER*QUEENS project and everything you can expect over the next two years. Delicious food will be provided. And everything is free!
This is the party where you support, celebrate, and inspire each other. A place full of inspiration, sisterhood, and strong artists from the Berlin hip hop scene.

Do you have an idea for an art education project and would like to learn how to develop a concept and apply for funding? We offer a two-day training course at the Brücke-Museum on how to apply for funding, financial planning and legal forms. Participants have time to develop an educational concept. A selected concept will later be realized in the Brücke-Museum.
The workshop is primarily aimed at artists or artists with a history of migration. If there is still capacity, freelancers without a history of migration can also take part.
Date: September 15 and 29, 12am–5pm (two-day training course)
