At Kollabo, the SISTERQUEENS have entered into a close musical and conceptual collaboration with rappers Haszcara, Alice Dee, and Leila Ey. Kollabo means working together, feminist and musical interaction, and joint positioning. The result is 3 featured songs and a concert at HAU.
Kollabo is already the third feminist rap project in collaboration with the intercultural center for girls* and young women*, MÄDEA, in Berlin Wedding. The focus is on the (yet) more active participation of the girls* involved in the entire production (idea generation, lyrics, costumes, video, concert performance) and the (yet) closer artistic collaboration with professional rappers. The new feature songs revolve around the theme of "sisterhood". Whether it's celebrating their diversity, making a feminist statement to the hood, or honoring hanging out with their homies - the SISTERQUEENS know: "We are a mosaic, the result is a crown". At the end of the process, the girls* and rappers put on a full-length program on the stage of the Hebbel am Ufer theater.
